Plan B Management Solutions is delighted to support Cheshire West Recycling (CWR) as its material sales partner for recyclable materials from its seven Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWCR), with CWR having recently taken over the management and operation of these sites. We also provide our material sales service for recyclable materials from CWR’s kerbside recycling scheme too.
Through this partnership, we provide specialist support in identifying, managing and coordinating end market outlets for recyclable materials. This helps CWR secure compliant, reliable and value focused routes for recyclable materials, while CWR operates and manages frontline services directly.
Through these services, we provide wider market insight and help identify synergies across material marketing, outlet management, compliance, and value. Our experts work closely with CWR’s operational and finance teams, providing market insight, brokerage support and practical solutions that are deliverable, compliant and aligned with service requirements.

Plan B Management Solutions currently works with a number of local authorities across the UK – in fact, we’re responsible for all recyclable materials across 33 Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC). Our contract with Essex County Council (ECC), which accounts for two-thirds of these sites, is featured in the Household Waste Recycling Guide by NGO Wrap as a best practice example of a hybrid service delivery model with materials marketing outsourced to Plan B Management Solutions.
