The Knowledge Hub enables councils and LATCos to come together to:
– Benchmark their service data to understand performance and identify the performance improvements that are right for the area they serve.
– Exchange knowledge and best practice with counterparts from other areas, learn what delivered results, the pitfalls to avoid and how problems have been overcome.
– Share and collaborate on common solutions e.g. training solutions.
The Knowledge Hub is a subscription-based service which launched in 2022 and currently covers waste and recycling collection, with plans to add street cleansing and grounds maintenance in future. Member authorities provide KPI data across a range of service areas, which are collated bi-monthly and reviewed to identify trends and associated causes.
The Knowledge Hub is about more than performance benchmarking; members meet twice yearly to discuss areas of common concern, share innovative practices and new approaches, providing a valuable networking opportunity and a forum to share good practice, drive innovation and work collaboratively.
Plan B is always looking for new members to join and further strengthen the Knowledge Hub. If you are interested in joining, please contact us.
